Conservation & Outdoor Recreational Education (CORE)

In order to purchase a hunting license, a BC resident 14 years of age or older must be in possession of a valid Hunter Number Card. It is required by law that each person wishing to obtain a Hunter Number has successfully passed the Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) Exams.

The Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) Program is British Columbia's Hunter Education Program. It is also a great program for anyone interested in outdoor recreation.

The CORE Program consists of a practical firearms handling test, and a written examination that covers the following subjects:

If you have previously passed the CFSC, you may bypass the practical firearms test and need only pass the written exam.

Contact us for more information or to schedule an exam or purchase a CORE Manual.

You must provide a copy of your CFSC report to show proof of completion. Save your paperwork!

Due to time limitations I am currently offering only examinations (challenges) at this time.
